WornTag is being developed. Here is what is known today, what is still undecided, and where the boundaries are.
What is WornTag?
WornTag is a product in development exploring a personal digital pet companion inspired by a favourite photograph, with gentle interactions such as calling and play. The images on this site are concepts; they are not screenshots of a finished app.
Can I download the app now?
No. WornTag is still in development and is not currently available in the App Store or Google Play. There are no live download links yet.
Can WornTag bring back a pet that has died?
No. WornTag does not bring an animal back. A digital likeness does not contain an animal’s memories, consciousness, feelings or personality. The experience is intended as a digital keepsake, not a replacement.
Can I upload a pet photo here?
No. This website is informational and does not accept uploads. Please do not send pet photographs or sensitive information through it.
What happens to my pet photo?
No photo upload is currently available. Before a photo feature launches, WornTag will publish clear details about how an image is used, who processes it, how long it is kept and how deletion works.
How much will WornTag cost?
Pricing has not been announced. Confirmed pricing will be published before the product asks anyone to pay.
Which phones will support WornTag?
Device support has not been finalised. Confirmed iPhone and Android requirements will be listed here before launch.
Can I make a WornTag as a gift?
A personalised pet companion may be suitable as a thoughtful gift, but gifting features and purchase options are not available yet.
Can I ask to join the beta?
The Beta page shows whether email sign-ups are open. Asking to hear about beta availability does not guarantee a place or require a purchase.
